Aleksei Stepanov has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Aleksei began their career in 2013 as a Construction Worker with Hekstral OÜ and TPSC MTÜ. In 2014, they continued in the construction field with a brief role as a Construction Worker with Kingway Grupp OÜ. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a BIM Modeller and Junior BIM Modeler at CES AS (Consolis Engineering Services Estonia). In 2016, Aleksei also worked as a Design Engineer at METUS-EST AS. In 2018, they briefly served as a Construction Manager at RAMM Ehituse OÜ. In 2020, they joined ESPLAN as a Structural Engineer and worked until 2021. Currently, since 2022, Aleksei serves as a Structural Engineering Team Lead at Bonava.

Aleksei Stepanov obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Aleksei also holds a certification as a Diploma Civil Engineer in Buildings and Structures, EstQF level 7 (Diplomeeritud ehitusinsener, EKR tase 7), awarded by the Estonian Association of Civil Engineers (Eesti Ehitusinseneride Liit).
