Dermot Cooney is a Senior Software Engineer currently with bonafi, focusing on the development and expansion of Electronic Signatures in compliance with FDR 21CFR pt11 while also leading the user interface engineering efforts for a cloud-based platform aimed at automating the verification process for pharmaceutical companies. Previously, Dermot held senior roles at NTT Ltd., where responsibilities included managing multiple UI projects and an API service, and at IBM, where contributions involved designing performant API servers and developing CI/CD pipelines for talent management solutions. Dermot also served as a Public Relations Officer for Trinity Cycling Club, overseeing social media and event promotions, and gained early experience through student placements at ESB Telecoms Ltd. Dermot holds a B.A.I and M.A.I in Electrical/Electronic and Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
