Katie Smither has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as an Acquisition Marketing Manager at Bombas, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Horizon Next, where they held several positions including Associate Director from July 2021 to April 2022, Supervisor from July 2020 to June 2021, Senior Strategist from May 2019 to June 2020, Strategist from June 2018 to April 2019, and Assistant Strategist from August 2017 to May 2018. Before their time at Horizon Next, Katie worked as a Content Strategist at Yours Socially from March 2016 to May 2017. Katie also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at EchoStar Corporation in June 2016 and as a Marketing Intern at Basic Bananas - Marketing Education for Entrepreneurs in June 2015. Furthermore, they worked as a Marketing-Operations Intern at Russ Reid Company in May 2014. Katie's earliest work experience was as an Administrative Assistant (part-time) at The Wilshire Group Associates from May 2012 to July 2014.

Katie Smither attended LaSalle High School from 2009 to 2013. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Wake Forest University from 2013 to 2017. At Wake Forest University, Katie focused their studies on Business Enterprise Management with a concentration in Marketing.
