Ross Tillman has a diverse work experience in the field of transportation engineering. Ross started their career in 2008 as a Research Assistant at the Center for Freight and Infrastructure Research and Education. In 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Wisconsin Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory.
In 2010, Ross joined Delcan Corporation as a Traffic Engineer until 2012. Ross then joined Bolton & Menk, Inc. as a Transportation Project Engineer in November 2012. Over the years, they took on more responsible roles within the company, including Senior Transportation Project Engineer from January 2019 to January 2020, and currently, they are serving as the Principal Transportation Engineer. In this role, Ross manages various projects for a range of clients, from studies to project delivery, with a focus on corridor studies, intersection control evaluation analyses, and complete streets project deliveries.
Ross Tillman earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the years 2005-2009. During this time, they also obtained a Certificate in Technical Communication from the same university. Afterward, Ross pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Ross holds two professional engineering certifications. Ross obtained the Professional Engineer - Wisconsin certification in December 2014 and the Professional Engineer - Minnesota certification in June 2014.
