Robert Hayes began their career as a Project Manager and Associate at LandDesign in June 2001. Robert worked there until November 2007. In March 2011, they joined ColeJenest & Stone as an Associate and remained in that role until May 2018. From May 2018 to June 2019, they worked at Bloc Design as a Senior Civil Designer. Currently, they are working at ColeJenest & Stone as a Civil Project Engineer, a position they have held since July 2019.

Robert Hayes attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. The exact dates of their enrollment and graduation are not provided.
