Johan Albertsson is an experienced manager in the mining and process technology sectors, currently serving as the Manager of Process Technology at Boliden since April 2016. In this role, Johan oversees technology business support, research, and development involving engineers, researchers, and technicians across various specialties, including mineral technology and hydrometallurgy. Previously, Johan held the position of Mill Manager for Boliden Area Operations, managing a concentrator with significant processing capacity of polymetallic sulphide ores and smelter slag. Prior to this, Johan was the Mill Manager at Lundin Mining Corporation's Zinkgruvan Mine and at Boliden's Garpenberg Mine, where responsibilities included overseeing the processing of various ores. Johan also has a background in research and development, consulting, and engineering roles, having worked with Optronic Consult and Boliden earlier in the career. Johan holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Physics from Umeå University.
