Andreas Berggren is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mineral processing, currently serving as Mill Manager at Boliden's Aitik Mine, Europe’s largest mineral processing plant, overseeing ore production of 45 million tons per year and a team of 120 employees. Andreas holds the title of Competent Person under the PERC standard, responsible for signing mineral resource and reserves reports. Previous roles include Department Manager for Process Technology, where leadership was provided to a team of 27 focusing on feasibility studies and process optimization, and Program Manager for Process Control and Automation, leading R&D projects in process control technologies. Early in their career, Andreas worked as a Research Engineer at Modo Paper AB, developing advanced analysis methods. Andreas earned an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Umeå University.
