Shelton Cortez has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Shelton began their career in the US Navy in 1991, where they served in various roles related to Aviation Line Service and Supply for seven years. After leaving the Navy, they joined Bowe Bell + Howell as a Service Engineer/Electro-Mechanical Technician, where they worked for nearly a decade until 2007.

Following their tenure at Bowe Bell + Howell, Shelton transitioned into the real estate industry, working as a Real Estate Agent for SMG Realty from 2007 to 2011. Shelton then returned to Bowe Bell + Howell for a second stint as a Service Engineer/Electro-Mechanical Technician, which lasted until 2012.

In 2013, Shelton joined MGM Resorts International as a Network Technician, where they remained until 2016. Shelton then moved on to Mobilitie in 2017, assuming the role of Network Support Engineer.

Throughout their varied career, Shelton Cortez has gained valuable experience in engineering, technician roles, real estate, and network support. Their expertise in these fields showcases their adaptability and strong work ethic.

Shelton Cortez completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Electronics Engineering from ITT Tech, where they studied from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further education in Information Technology at the College of Southern Nevada, although specific details about the degree achieved are not available. In addition to their formal education, Shelton Cortez has obtained certifications in A+, CCNA Routing Switching, Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA-W), and Network+ from CompTIA and Cisco.
