Kate Carolan has a diverse work experience in the field of medical writing. Kate is currently working at BOLDSCIENCE as a Senior Medical Writer 2 since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at BOLDSCIENCE as a Senior Medical Writer from March 2022 to January 2023, and as a Medical Writer from March 2021 to March 2022. Before joining BOLDSCIENCE, Kate worked at Prime Global as a Medical Writer from October 2018 to February 2021, and as an Associate Medical Writer from October 2017 to October 2018. Additionally, they worked at Manchester Metropolitan University as a Microbiology Public Engagement Assistant in June 2012.

Kate Carolan's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Loreto Grammar School for Girls where they completed their GCSEs. Kate then moved on to Loreto Sixth Form College from 2008 to 2009, where they earned their GCE A Levels with a focus on Biology. After that, they attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Microbiology. Lastly, from 2013 to 2017, Kate pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at The Manchester Metropolitan University.
