Jen Schneider

Interim Associate Dean, School of Public Service at Boise State University

Jen Schneider is an associate professor at Boise State University. Jen has been working in the field of public policy and administration for over 10 years. Her current research focuses on the communication practices of energy industry and environmentalist advocacy campaigns. Jen teaches courses such as Nuclear Power and Public Policy, Media and the Environment, Advanced Science Communication, Energy and Society, and Film Studies. Jen is also an advisor for the graduate minor in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Policy (STEP). Jen is a mom to two precocious, outrageous little girls, a drooling great dane, and an overly-attached chihuahua.

Jen Schneider received their Ph.D in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University. Jen also has a M.A in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University, and a B.A in French from Albertson College of Idaho.

Jen Schneider works with Jennifer Snow - Interim Dean, College of Education, Susan Shadle - Vice Provost, Undergraduate Studies, and Tod Colegrove - Dean, Albertsons Library. Jen Schneider reports to John Buckwalter, Provost & VP, Academic Affairs.
