Matt Somero is a seasoned recruitment professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. As the Founder of Vault Talent LLC, Somero specializes in embedded recruiting for seed-funded startups and retained search for Series A+ teams. Current roles include serving as an internal recruiter for Layup Parts and Novaprime, both of which are growing seed-funded companies. Previously, Somero co-founded Keen Search, a boutique headhunting firm focused on tech startups, and supported various tech firms through Vault Talent LLC. Early career experience includes roles at KPMG US and a recruiting agency, where foundational skills in commercial credit risk and partnerships were developed. Somero holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Boise State University.
