Jamie Chavez has over 20 years of experience in residential architecture, design, and construction, with a strong focus on engineered wood products. Currently serving as an Area Sales Manager at Boise Cascade Company since May 2012, Jamie has spent 15 years in the engineered wood business, holding various roles including Trainer for software related to engineered wood products. Previously, Jamie was the Owner of Your Empowered Solutions, LLC, managing all aspects of the business to support client transformations. Jamie’s earlier experience includes roles such as Structural Designer and Training Coordinator at iLevel by Weyerhaeuser, Architectural Design Coordinator at Ryland Homes, and Civil Engineering CAD Drafter at Jones and Carter, Inc. Education includes a BA from Cornell College and additional studies at The University of Texas at Arlington, Iowa State University, and SMU Cox School of Business.
