Prior to joining Bohrer PLLC, Madeline worked as a prosecutor at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where she personally managed a large caseload of felony and misdemeanor cases. During her tenure, she presented felony matters to the grand jury, tried cases to verdict, conducted numerous hearings, cross-examined defendants, and negotiated hundreds of plea deals. Most notably, during Madeline’s tenure as a prosecutor, New York State’s pre-trial discovery law requirements were heightened as of January 2020 and she set precedent regarding discovery compliance and Brady obligations when a judge decided favorably on two of her motions.
While in law school, Madeline served as a Legal Extern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Legal Intern at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. She also participated in Moot Court and Mock Trial.
