Rachel Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning multiple education and sales roles. Rachel'smost recent position was as a Nature School Teacher at Cibolo Nature Center & Farm in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at Boerne ISD in 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at the American International School of Lagos, followed by a role as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher at the same school from 2014 to 2015. Rachel also worked as a Substitute Teacher at Providence Classical School from 2012 to 2013 and as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher at Geneva School of Boerne in 2011. Earlier in their career, Rachel served as a Substitute Teacher at St. Mark Early Learning Center from 2010 to 2011. Rachel also has experience outside of the education field, having worked as a Sales Manager at Tapatio Springs Golf Resort, Inc. from 2008 to 2009 and as a Sales Representative at Environmental Safety & Health Consulting Services, Inc. from 2001 to 2002. Rachel's earliest known work experience was as a Kindergarten Teacher at Kendall Elementary School from 2004 to 2005.

Rachel Edwards completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing at Texas A&M University from 1995 to 1999. In 2003 to 2004, they pursued studies in Elementary Education and Teaching at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Later, from 2018 to 2019, they obtained their Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University.
