Kelsie Adams has a diverse work experience. Kelsie started their career in 2014 as a Family Activities Intern at Central Baptist Church, where they also worked as an Administrative Assistant for a brief period in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at College Station ISD until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Kelsie worked as an English Language Art Teacher at KERRVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. During the same period, they also worked as a Pre Kindergarten Teacher at Primrose Schools for a short period in 2017. In 2020, they joined Boerne ISD as a 7th Grade English Language Arts & Reading Teacher.
Kelsie Adams completed their high school education at Providence Classical School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they attended Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in 4-8 ELA/SS (English Language Arts/Social Studies). During their time at Texas A&M University, they also achieved the title of Aggie Research Scholar in September 2016. Kelsie has obtained additional certifications including an EC-6 Generalist certification, English as a Second Language certification, Gifted & Talented Education certification, and TExES (Texas Examinations of Educator Standards) English Language Arts, Reading, & Social Studies 4-8 certification, although the specific months and years of these certifications are not provided.
