Laila Elias, PhD, is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering. Currently a Vice President and Program Manager for 737 Airplane Development Programs at Boeing, Laila has previously held roles as Sr. Director in both Program Management and Propulsion Systems Engineering within the same company. Laila's early career includes positions as an Aerospace Engineer at Blue Origin, Senior Engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Technical Consultant at Mide Technology Corporation. Laila's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
