Alan Croos has a diverse background in various roles. Alan started their career as an Inventory Auditor at RGIS in 2013, where they organized inventory data and tracked inventory using a scanner. In 2014, they worked as a Tax Preparer at Liberty Tax Service, preparing tax returns for clients and assisting with general office duties.
From 2015 to 2016, Alan worked as a Junior Accountant at A. Gonzalves Associates, processing payroll, organizing financial data, and preparing tax returns. Alan then joined Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS) as an Accountant from 2016 to 2020, where they managed payroll using ADP and Excel, handled vendor checks and vouchers, and managed employee timesheets and databases.
In 2020, Alan transitioned to the United States Air Force as a Cyber Security Analyst, where they maintained network traffic flow, implemented security updates, and managed account access groups. Alan continued this role as a DoD Contractor until 2021.
In 2021, Alan joined NJVC-LLC as a System Administrator, providing IT support, responding to mission-critical services, and developing cross-functional workflows through inventory analysis. Alan then moved to Boeing Intelligence & Analytics in 2022, initially as a System Engineer and later as a Lead DevOps Engineer. In these roles, they maintained applications and services in a microservice environment using AWS C2S Instance Servers and Saltstack configuration.
Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality results.
Alan Cross's education history starts in 2011 when they attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Economics, with a field of study in Accounting and Finance. Alan completed this degree in 2015.
Afterward, in 2017, Alan attended the University of Maryland Global Campus and pursued a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity Technology, without specifying a field of study. Alan'sstudies continued until 2018 when they completed the program.
In addition to their formal education, Alan obtained the CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification from CompTIA in August 2020, followed by the CompTIA Linux+ ce Certification, also from CompTIA, in the same month and year.
