Clive Wood is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Corporate Senior Vice President and Global Head of Discovery Research at Boehringer Ingelheim since March 2014. Before this role, Clive held the position of Head of Global Biologics and Senior Vice President at Bayer HealthCare from July 2009 to January 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President at Dyax Corp from 2003 to 2009, and working at Wyeth Research and Genetics Institute focusing on inflammation from 1986 to 2003. Clive began their career as a scientist at Celltech Ltd from 1982 to 1985. Educationally, Clive earned a PhD and a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, completing the latter in 1982.
