Bino John currently serves as the Director of Computational Biology in Cancer Immunology and Immune Modulation at Boehringer Ingelheim since December 2023. Previously, Bino John held the position of Global Team Leader and Director of Data Science and AI at AstraZeneca from June 2018 to December 2023, focusing on computational biology and machine learning across multiple therapeutic areas. Prior roles include Computational and Systems Biology Leader at DowDuPont, where Bino John directed a global Bioinformatics team, and Computational Biology Group Leader at Dow, overseeing projects in genomics and machine learning. Bino John's academic experience includes serving as an Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, with research in genomics and proteomics, and completing a Research Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from The Rockefeller University and an M.S. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
