Alfredo Castaneda has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Alfredo began their career in 1988 as a Store Director at Vons Co Inc and worked in that role until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Store Director at Bodega Latina Corp, dba El Super. In 2015, they transitioned to Albertsons as a Store Director for a brief period before joining El Super as a Regional Director of Operations in 2015. Alfredo held the role of Regional Director of Operations at El Super until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Regional Director of Operations at Chedraui USA.

Alfredo Castaneda has a diverse education history that spans from 1990 to 2004. Alfredo began their educational journey at Cerritos College from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. Following this, they enrolled at California State University-Dominguez Hills from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management. Later, in 2003 to 2004, Alfredo attended the USC Marshall School of Business, participating in the USC/FIM - Certification program in Food Industry Management.
