Kelly Damiano has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Kelly started with the University of Virginia Softball Team as a Catcher and First Baseman, where they received a full athletic scholarship and earned several honors. Kelly then worked as a Bus Driver for University Transit Services, driving a transit bus and utilizing good public relations skills. Kelly also served as a RISE Camp Counselor at Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion, supervising children during camp activities and teaching basic baseball and softball skills. Kelly worked as an A+ Group Leader at YMCA of Honolulu, guiding and mentoring elementary students in organized activities. Additionally, Kelly volunteered as a Volunteer Facilitator for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program, leading group discussions and teambuilding activities for high school sophomores. Kelly worked as an Instructor at Mad Science of the Mid-Hudson, teaching science-related classes. Later, they became the Equipment Manager for Mad Science Mid-Hudson, managing inventory and overseeing meetings and instructor training. Most recently, Kelly has been employed at Bode Technology, starting as a DNA Technologist and progressing to roles such as Technical Service Representative, Technical Account Specialist, and currently Specialty Account Manager. In these roles, they have gained proficiency in laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and customer account management.
Kelly Damiano completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia from 2006 to 2010. Following this, Kelly pursued a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Science at Chaminade University of Honolulu from 2010 to 2011. Kelly then furthered their education at the University of Florida, earning a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Pharmacy in Forensic Science from 2012 to 2013.
