Ian MacDonald, CPA, CA, currently serves as an Associate in Private Equity at Clairvest Group Inc. since May 2023, focusing on building strategically significant businesses with entrepreneurial partners. In addition, Ian holds positions as a Board Member at Boca Biolistics, LLC, and as a Board Observer at Top Aces, both starting in June 2023. Prior to these roles, Ian was a Senior Associate in Investments at Social Capital Partners from June 2021 to May 2023, and an Investment Banking Associate specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions at National Bank Financial from October 2018 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Staff Accountant in Financial Services Audit at EY from September 2015 to October 2018. Ian obtained an HBA from Ivey Business School at Western University between 2013 and 2015 and attended Western University from 2011 to 2013.
