Kim Gebbia Chappell has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries.
Starting in 2006, Chappell worked as a News Reporter at WECT News for two years before moving on to WXII News 12 in 2008, where they served as a News Reporter for two years as well.
In 2010, Chappell joined WTVF NewsChannel 5 as a News Reporter/Anchor, where they received an Emmy Award and AP recognition for their work. Kim was also involved in covering military news and functioned as a fill-in anchor for various programs.
Chappell then transitioned into the field of communications and marketing. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Manager of PR & Community Development at Weebly before being promoted to Head of Communications.
Moving forward, Chappell worked at Square starting in 2018. Kim began as a Product Communications specialist before taking on the role of Brand & Purpose Communications. Kim'stenure at Square ended in 2020.
In 2020, Chappell joined Bobbie as the Head of Marketing & Communications, and in 2021, they were promoted to the position of VP of Marketing & Communications.
Most recently, Chappell joined Chief as a Member in 2022.

Kim Gebbia Chappell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from The University of Georgia. Kim attended the university from 2002 to 2006. In 2003, they briefly studied Communications and Foreign Relations at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Additionally, in 2005-2006, Chappell pursued a course at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on History. Kim also holds a certification from the Forbes Communication Council, although the institution, obtained month, and obtained year are not specified.
