Ignacio Azofeifa has 14 years of software development experience, starting in 2007 as a software developer at Illative Technologies, where they analyzed and created a new documentation process for a domain migration for Kraft Foods. Ignacio worked as a software developer at GBSYS from July 2007 to December 2009, where they developed a supply system for the University of Costa Rica. Ignacio joined Totem Technologies in June 2009 as a senior lead software engineer, analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining NodeJS and React Native applications for multiple national and foreign clients. Ignacio began working as a senior lead software engineer for Boats Group and 10Pearls LATAM in October 2012, where they continue to work.

Ignacio Azofeifa received a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, majoring in Information Systems from the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica in 2007. Ignacio then pursued a second degree, a Bachelor of Science in Web Systems, and completed it in 2011 from the same university. Ignacio also obtained an additional certification in "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in June 2014.
