Dani Robbins has extensive experience in nonprofit administration and governance strategy. Dani is currently working as the Director of Governance Strategy at BoardSource since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Lecturer at The Ohio State University's John Glenn College of Public Affairs starting from August 2015. From January 2018 to December 2022, Dani worked as a Clinical Faculty and Director of Nonprofit Administration at John Carroll University. In 2009, they founded their own company, Non Profit Evolution, Inc, where they worked as a Strategist, Principal, and Founder until December 2022. Dani also served as a Fundraising Coach at Network for Good from May 2014 to August 2018 and as a Non Profit Expert at Answers.com from October 2013 to October 2015. Earlier in their career, Dani held executive positions as the Executive Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve from 2004 to 2009 and at Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes from 2002 to 2004. Dani also worked as the Director of A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute and Assistant Director at the Anti-Defamation League from August 2000 to March 2001, and as the Director of the Women's Coalition at Case Western Reserve University from 1998 to 2000. Overall, Dani Robbins has demonstrated expertise in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and leadership roles.
Dani Robbins has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Urban Affairs from Cleveland State University, which was obtained from 1994 to 1995. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University, completing it between 1987 and 1991. In addition to their formal education, Dani has obtained additional certifications: they became an Innovative Leadership Facilitator from the Innovative Leadership Institute in April 2016 and completed the Advanced Leadership Program from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in May 2009.
