Olivier Besnard is a seasoned Senior Data Architect with extensive experience in data architecture and governance across various organizations. Currently serving at BNP Paribas Cardif since October 2020, Olivier has previously held senior data architect positions at Indépendant and Crédit Agricole Assurances, where contributions included designing the Data Hub architecture suited to the ecosystem at Pacifica. Prior roles include Technical Data Architect at BNP Paribas, specializing in data architecture within the group, and expertise in data governance at Sodexo. Olivier's consultancy background at Wavestone involved IT and Data Architecture consulting, as well as significant contributions to data desensitization strategies and Big Data platform design for the Autorité des marchés financiers. Olivier Besnard holds an engineering degree with a specialization in Computer Systems and Networks from INSIA.
