Ruben Ponce Wong

Ruben Ponce Wong has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ruben started their career as a Student Assistant at the Authority of the Panama Canal, where they conducted experiments to determine water quality and improved inventory organization. Later, they worked at Arizona State University as a Lead Evening Tutor, managing a team of tutors, coordinating test reviews, and providing tutoring in math, science, and engineering subjects. Ruben then transitioned to a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Teaching Assistant role, teaching laboratory sections and assisting students with questions, while also performing experiments and running computer simulations. Ruben continued their work at Arizona State University as a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Research Associate in the Biomechatronics Laboratory, fabricating a microfluidic force sensor skin and analyzing data using MATLAB and SAS. Ruben'smost recent role is as the Director of Technology at BMSEED, where they currently work.

Ruben Ponce Wong has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Arizona State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Ruben then pursued further education at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, both in Mechanical Engineering, from 2008 to 2013. Ruben Ponce Wong's academic journey showcases their dedication and expertise in engineering, specifically in the areas of bioengineering and biomedical engineering.
