Benjamin Trenz has extensive work experience in human resources. Benjamin started their career as a Werkstudent Human Resources at Merz Pharma from July 2008 to August 2010. Benjamin then worked as a Referent Personalentwicklung at Merz Pharma from September 2010 to December 2012. From January 2013 to March 2016, they held the position of Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist/HR Business Partner at Merz Pharma. Benjamin joined Heraeus as an HR Business Partner in April 2016 and stayed with the company until January 2020. After that, they worked as the Head of HR Operations at BMI Group (Roofing & Waterproofing) from February 2020 to December 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Senior HR Business Partner & CoE Reward Lead at BMI Group (Roofing & Waterproofing) starting from January 2022. Additionally, since October 2022, Benjamin has been working as a self-employed Trainer & Coach.

- From 2019 to 2022, they attended SiegerConsulting: Institut für Systemisches Coaching, where they received training and certification as a Systemischer Coach (DCV zertifizierte Ausbildung).
- In 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organisations- und Personalentwicklung (berufsbegleitend) at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
- Between 2008 and 2011, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Betriebswirtschaft from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
- In 2006 to 2008, they completed their Industriekaufmann (IHK) qualification through a program offered by the Industrie- und Handelskammer/Merz Group Services GmbH.
