Chen Yang began their work experience in 2019 as a Build Process Intern at Evolve Additive Solutions. In 2021, they moved on to Boston Micro Fabrication - BMF, where they worked as an R&D Mechanical Engineer from June 2021 to February 2022. Chen Yang then transitioned into the role of R&D Manager, 3D Printing Systems at BMF in March 2022 and their current tenure at this position is ongoing.
Chen Yang completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2011. Chen then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, from 2011 to 2012.
Afterwards, Chen Yang joined Rutgers University and completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2015. Chen continued their education at Rutgers University and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2021.
