Itay Wasserman is a seasoned security professional with significant experience in various roles within the cybersecurity domain. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Proxymity since May 2022, Itay has previously held positions including DevOps & Security Engineer at Cyberbit, Senior IT & Security Engineer at OurCrowd, and IT & Security Engineer at Imperva. Prior to entering the private sector, Itay led a DevOps team in Unit 81 of the Israel Defense Forces. Additionally, Itay pursued academic advancement at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, obtaining a CISO degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Earlier education includes a High School Diploma in Network and System Administration from Ironi Aleph High School. Volunteering efforts include participating in Unit 81 with a focus on medical exemption roles.
