Roman S. Ponos has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In their most recent position as Vice President of Business Development at Blumont, Inc., they played a key role in driving the company's growth. Roman also served as an Advisor, Board Member, and Investor for various social enterprises through Halcyon Angels. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and served as a Global Advisor and CEO at GriffinWorx. Moreover, they held the position of Design Lab Lead at ThinkWell and Vice President of International Development at IMPAQ International. Roman also worked in various roles at CARANA Corporation, including Vice President of Business Development and Deputy Chief of Party. Prior to this, they gained experience as a Market Analyst at Mondo Media, Regional Manager at Abt Associates Inc., and Researcher/Librarian/Office Manager at The Baltimore Sun.

Roman S. Ponos began their education by obtaining a General High School Diploma from Seton Hall Preparatory School in 1986. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University, completing the course of study in 1990. In 1999, Roman pursued further education by enrolling in the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Management in 2000.
