As Vice-President and with 30 years of healthcare experience, Laurie is accountable for a diversified portfolio of corporate, clinical and support services. She brings a strong understanding of the local health issues, priorities and needs, and Laurie recognizes the broader strategic trends in healthcare policy, integration and system development. A trusted, collaborative and consultative professional, she has a proven track record of leading and facilitating excellence in health system planning, service delivery and process and performance improvement.
Originally a Registered Nurse in critical care, Laurie has a Masters of Science in Leadership and Management and is a graduate of the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management Executive Program 2019. She is passionate about patient and family-centred care within a culture that supports those who receive care and provide care.
