Florentina Mihai is a highly experienced engineer specializing in naval architecture and marine engineering. With a career spanning from 2004 to the present, Florentina Mihai has worked at Bluewater Energy Services since June 2007, serving as a Project Engineer and later as a Senior Mooring & Subsea Engineer, focusing on mooring and hose analysis for CALM buoy systems and FPSOs, as well as offshore installations. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Marine Technology and Engineering, where Florentina Mihai conducted nearshore wave analysis using advanced wave models, and as a Marine Engineer at ICEPRONAV SA, involved in the design and engineering of marine systems and hull outfitting. Florentina Mihai holds a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Bachelor's degree from Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați.
