Sten Goes has a solid work experience in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning engineering. Sten started their career at Q.E.F. electronic innovations in 2008 and worked there until 2022. In this role, Sten was responsible for implementing and developing Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms using C#, Python, and C++. Sten also designed Illumination and Imaging setups. Sten worked on projects such as a camera system for direct mailing companies. In addition to their engineering work, Sten also had a brief role as a Certified Ski Instructor at Ski- & Snowboardschule Wagrain in 2008-2009. Sten currently works as an R&D Engineer at BluePrint Automation starting in 2022.

Sten Goes earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Delft University of Technology, which they attended from 2009 to 2014. Sten continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Physics from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Sten also obtained two certifications: "Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User" from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2021 and "The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking" from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2019.
