Karen Heaton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in retail management and marketing. Currently serving as Store/Business Manager at Bluemercury since July 2022, Karen previously held the position of Operations Manager at WorkHouse NYC from March 2018 to December 2021. Prior to that, Karen worked as a Sales Manager for Hudson's Bay Company from 2012 to August 2017, leading a team of over 30 sales associates to create a customer-centric environment. Experience also includes roles as Clinique Account Executive at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and Owner of Celebrate! The Party Place in Sarasota, Florida. With a background in executive marketing and global promotions at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. from 1981 to 2003, Karen managed international gift-with-purchase programs and created special events to attract customers. Karen holds a BA in French from the University of Waterloo.
