Cerissa Godfrey, SPHR, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in employee relations and management. Currently serving as Senior Human Resources Manager at Bluemercury since February 2022, Cerissa oversees employee relations for over 1,000 team members across more than 180 locations. Responsibilities include managing investigations, providing policy training, collaborating with legal counsel, and enhancing retention through employee engagement programs. Prior experience includes serving as Employee Relations Manager at Zaxby's Franchising LLC, where Cerissa managed employee relations for over 5,000 team members and facilitated compliance training. Cerissa began a career in marketing with positions at Chick-fil-A and Zax, showcasing a diverse skill set in both HR and marketing. Cerissa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and an Associate of Arts from the University of North Georgia.
