Toby D. Patterson, PMP has a diverse range of work experience spanning over a decade. Toby D. currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at BlueForce Inc., a role they assumed in 2022. Previously, from 2019 to 2022, Toby served as the Director of Program Management at ATSG Corporation, where they provided strategic direction and managed multiple programs exceeding $15 million in revenue.

Prior to ATSG Corporation, Toby was the Chief Strategy Officer at Heartland Consulting from 2018 to 2019, where they executed the CEO's vision and implemented long-term strategies. Toby D. also served as a Senior Consultant at Heartland Consulting from 2016 to 2018, managing the Foreign National Visitor Name Trace project for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Earlier in their career, Toby held various roles in the U.S. Marine Corps. Toby D. was a Branch Head at the MAGTF Staff Training Program from 2014 to 2016, leading a team and conducting assessments of operational planning. As a Foreign Security Force Advisor with the Security Force Assistance Advisor Team in 2013, they organized, trained, and led a team of Marine advisors in Afghanistan, achieving mission success.

Toby's military career also included roles such as Expeditionary Operations Officer at II Marine Expeditionary Force from 2012 to 2013, and Current Operations Planner at Marine Corps Forces Central Command (FWD) from 2011 to 2012. Toby D. was also selected as the sole U.S. Marine to attend the Australian Command and Staff College from 2010 to 2011.

Additionally, Toby has experience in the political field, having served as the Deputy Director and Liaison Officer at the Marine Corps Liaison Office to the U.S. House of Representatives from 2007 to 2010.

Toby D. Patterson, PMP has a strong educational background in international service and policy. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Service from the American University School of International Service. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Strategy and Policy from UNSW in 2011. In 2008, Toby earned another Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma. Their undergraduate education was at Oklahoma State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an unspecified field of study in 1995.

Additionally, Toby has the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which they acquired in May 2017 from the Project Management Institute.
