John Ferguson has extensive experience in law enforcement and consulting, currently serving as a Consultant and Expert Witness at John S. Ferguson Consulting since February 1993. Ferguson also contributes as a Secondary Firearms Instructor with General Dynamics Information Technology, assists educational organizations as a Mobile Training Officer for the Ohio Department of Public Safety, and serves as an Investigator for the Ohio Lottery Commission. Notable previous roles include Lieutenant at the North College Hill Police Department and Police Academy Commander at the Butler Tech Law Enforcement Institute. Additionally, Ferguson authored the "99 Things Every Law Enforcement Officer Should Know" book series. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Gateway Community College and training from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy.
