Mathew Anderson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Mathew is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Blue Suede Hospitality Group since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at Sonder Inc. from September 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they served as the General Manager at Hotel Z - A Staypineapple Hotel from July 2018 to August 2021.

In their early career, Mathew gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry through roles at Marriott International, where they worked as an Assistant General Manager from April 2017 to July 2018, a Sales Executive from April 2014 to April 2017, and a Property Coordinator from June 2013 to April 2014.

Mathew also worked as an Account Development Representative at Sonatype from September 2012 to June 2013 and as the Director of Sales Operations at AccuCore Group, LLC from December 2011 to August 2012.

In the education sector, they served as the Head Foreign Teacher at Wenzhou Language School from June 2009 to December 2011.

Additionally, Mathew has previous experience as a Resident Assistant at The University of Arizona Department of Residence Life from August 2008 to May 2009 and as a Personal Baseball Trainer, operating as a self-employed individual from December 2007 to May 2009.

Lastly, they worked as a Concierge & Guest Service Agent at Four-Points by Sheraton Tucson from June 2007 to May 2009.

Mathew Anderson received their TEFL Certification in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Lado International College in 2013. Prior to that, they studied Chinese Language and Literature at Wenzhou University from 2009 to 2010. Mathew then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management at the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management from 2006 to 2009. Before attending the University of Arizona, they attended Rockford University from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Business Management & Photography. Additionally, Mathew obtained the LADO TEFL Certificate from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) in 2013.
