Amanda Davis, CMP, has a long and successful career in the adult online education industry. Amanda began their career in 2008 as a Meeting Planner for the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA). In this role, they planned and executed over 250 in-person seminars and workshops and managed the online learning product line, launching it with two programs and growing it to over 200 annually by 2013. Amanda was then promoted to Online Learning Manager, where they oversaw the development of the comprehensive curriculum, setup, production, and marketing of online learning, and reduced production cost through negotiation. After that, they were promoted to Infrastructure & Design Manager, where they managed two and a half full-time employees and collaborated with internal learning team members to ensure the best technology solutions were utilized to meet member needs. Finally, they were promoted to Director of Learning & Development, where they supervised and coached six staff members, led the departmental strategy and operational oversight of the Professional Development team, and partnered with the internal Marketing team to develop effective strategies to promote all Professional Development product lines.
In 2018, Amanda Davis, CMP, moved on to Blue Sky eLearn, where they served as Chief Experience Officer, Vice President of Client Experience, and Vice President of Continuing Education (CE) Solutions. In their role as Vice President of CE Solutions, they oversaw all of Blue Sky eLearn's regulated CE business development initiatives and worked closely with legal and financial associations and organizations that focus on continuing education. Additionally, they were a Business Development Manager, providing dedicated, creative, strategic, and high-energy eLearning business development executive services to associations, corporations, consulting firms, and organizations.
Currently, Amanda Davis, CMP, is an Advisory Board Member for Customer Experience at UC Irvine.
Amanda Davis, CMP has an educational background in Communications Studies. Amanda obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2006. In 2012, they obtained their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council. In 2021, they obtained their CXPA Professional Member certification from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA). Additionally, in 2022, they obtained their Creating a Positive Customer Experience certification from LinkedIn and The Organizational Leadership & Financial Fundamentals Program certification from GoalMakers.
