Rene Melbourne has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Starting in 2005, Rene worked as a Teller at RBTT Bank Limited for three years before moving to FirstCaribbean International Bank as a customer service officer. After five years in the banking industry, Rene joined Xerox (Conduent) as a Financial Analyst-Auditor in 2013 and served in this role for four years. In 2018, Rene joined Blue Sky Capital Strategies as a Financial Analyst-Consulting and later transitioned to the position of Senior Business Development Manager for the Caribbean. Currently, Rene is self-employed and working as a Consultant since 2020.

Rene Melbourne attended the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
