Shilpa Sundaram has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Manager, Sponsor Relations at The Indus Entrepreneurs (Bay Area) from February 2008 to December 2008. Shilpa then served as MANAGER, OPERATIONS at the same company from January 2009 to December 2009.

In 2010, Shilpa joined Blue Shield of California, where they held various financial analyst roles. Shilpa started as a Special Projects member in the Office of the Chief Medical Officer from April 2010 to October 2013. Shilpa then worked as a Financial Analyst from November 2013 to February 2016, followed by a promotion to Senior Financial Analyst from March 2016 to July 2019. Currently, Shilpa holds the position of Lead Financial Analyst at Blue Shield of California, starting in August 2019.

Shilpa Sundaram completed their education at the University of Mumbai. Shilpa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from 1995 to 2000, followed by a Master's degree in Economics from 2000 to 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Shilpa acquired various skills through online courses offered by LinkedIn. Shilpa obtained certifications in Creativity Boot Camp, Systems Thinking, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking, and Thinking Creatively in the months of April and May in 2023.
