Janira Montenegro is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on provider and community engagement. Currently serving as Provider Engagement Outreach Manager at Blue Shield of California since November 2018, Janira acts as a liaison between providers and the health plan, enhancing physician satisfaction and addressing inquiries. Previously, Janira held the role of Community and Enrollment Outreach Manager, where the focus was on strengthening community relations and provider education. Prior to joining Blue Shield of California, Janira worked at Anthem, Inc. and Anthem Blue Cross as a Community Relations Representative from August 2005 to March 2017, where responsibilities included developing relationships with community organizations and increasing awareness of Medi-Cal program benefits. Janira holds a Certificate in Business Management from Cerritos College.
