Jan Stephanides possesses extensive experience in the field of occupational therapy and driving evaluation. Currently serving as a Driving Evaluator and Occupational Therapist at Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge since April 2020, Jan has also been active as a Course Facilitator for AARP, leading the "We Need To Talk" course since 2014. Additionally, Jan has contributed to the Assn for Driver Rehab Specialists as a 2-Day Course Instructor, presenting vital courses at national conventions, including the "Traffic Safety Instruction for Driving Rehab Specialists" in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and "Introduction to Driving Rehabilitation" at the NMEDA Conference in Miami, Florida. Prior experience includes a similar role at Care Partners Health Services from April 2012 to May 2020. Jan holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with a specialization in Driving and Community Mobility from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
