Sterling Gascon is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in product design and development. Currently serving as the Director of Product Engineering and Production at Blue Planet Energy since January 2019, Sterling previously held roles as a Product Design Engineer at Volta Industries and a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on electric vehicle charging stations and nationwide maintenance processes. Academic contributions include serving as a Nanotechnology and Renewable Energy Lab Technician and Mentor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where Sterling was involved in innovative renewable energy research and mentoring students. Additional experience includes an internship at Hawaii Independent Energy and contracting work at Pacific Mechanical Technology LLC, where Sterling contributed to various engineering projects in robotics and oil refinery maintenance.
