Lauren M Seyler is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in marine biology and biological oceanography. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Stockton University since September 2020, Lauren also contributes as a researcher at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science. Previous experience includes roles such as Creative Director at Habitable Press and Postdoctoral Investigator at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Lauren's educational background includes a PhD in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Rutgers University, where extensive research on microbial communities and various advanced molecular techniques was conducted. Additional roles in scientific research include a Fulbright Doctoral Student at Station Biologique de Roscoff and a Shipboard Scientist for US Repeat Hydrography/CLIVAR.
