Mandy Schmidt, MPH, is a seasoned professional in population health program implementation with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Program Implementation Lead at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota since February 2021, Mandy previously held the role of Well-being Account Operations Manager at HealthPartners and worked at StayWell as a Client Service Manager/Implementation Manager, where successful client relationships were fostered and numerous health programs were managed. Mandy's background includes a significant tenure at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where research on Medicaid Managed Care and a mixed-method evaluation of developmental center closures were conducted. Additionally, experience as an Accreditation Specialist intern at the Illinois Department of Public Health involved directing accreditation project plans, and earlier roles included administrative support and coaching in independent living services. Mandy holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
