Tola Onasanya has over 17 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, currently serving at Blue Cross NC since June 2020. Prior to this role, Tola worked at Credit Suisse as a Financial Accountant focusing on Legal Entity Standard Reporting, and held various positions at UBS Financial Services, UBS Investment Bank, and Lehman Brothers Holdings/LAMCO LLC, where expertise included claims analysis in a Chapter 11 context and providing accounting support to alternative investment businesses. Tola’s early career included trade finance and cash management roles at Vmobile Nigeria and Econet Wireless, highlighting a solid foundation in financial operations. Tola holds a B.Sc in Economics from the University of Ibadan and an MSc in Accountancy from DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
