Markus Groebner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Markus started their career as a Floor Manager and Options broker at KCBT in 1998 and then worked as an Independent Options Broker at Kansas City Board of Trade. In 2007, they joined White Commercial Corporation as a Basis Trading Specialist. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Senior OTC Trader at INTL FCStone. In 2012, they joined J.P. Crowe & Co as a Proprietary Market Maker. Markus co-owned Little Ships Consulting LLC from 2011 to 2017. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Third Party Risk Advisor at Commerce Bank. In 2019, they joined Amazon Logistics as a Last Mile Delivery Driver and then worked as a Last Mile Delivery Driver and Route Analyst at Heartland Delivery in 2020. Currently, they are working as a Senior Vendor Risk Analyst, Lead at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, where they are responsible for implementing vendor performance management frameworks and developing communication channels between Risk Partners, Sourcing, Business Owners, and Leadership. Markus also monitors and reports on vendor performance and identifies areas for enhancement.
Markus Groebner holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Comparative Literature from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of C3PRMP - Certified Third Party Risk Management Professional from SIG|ÂÜÀòÂÒÂ× (Sourcing Industry Group) in November 2022.
