Jonathan Waite is an experienced actuary with a strong background in mathematics and actuarial science. Currently serving as the Managing Actuary of Senior Products at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama since September 2016, Jonathan previously held the position of Associate Actuary at Milliman from November 2012 to August 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science from Auburn University. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University, where advanced mathematical topics were communicated effectively, and as an Insurance Rate Analyst at American National Property and Casualty Company, where statistical data analysis and rate change proposals were a focus.
